What the Evidence Says About the Benefits of Coffee
Moderate coffee intake can fit well for many people, but caffeine sensitivity and brewing method still matter.
Coffee is one of the most studied beverages in the world, and the broad message from large observational research is more positive than many people assume.
That does not mean coffee is automatically ideal for everyone in every amount. Some people are more sensitive to caffeine, and pregnant people or those who have trouble controlling blood pressure, blood sugar, or anxiety may need to limit intake or switch to decaf.
The most realistic advice is not that coffee is perfect, but that moderate, well-tolerated coffee can fit well into a healthy diet for many people.
